LICKING COUNTY -- The Red Cross is helping a family after fire burns through their home.
The original call came in at 6:43 a.m. and once crews got the home at 6333 Pleasant Chapel Road SE, the fire was coming out of the windows.
One adult and two children got out of the home unharmed.
Fire crews say they had a difficult time getting to the home at first because it is up an 800 foot hill.
Several crews were called in to assist in fighting the fire.
No word on what caused the fire. Crews are investigating.
