Columbus -- A major children's manufacturing company is being sued after a little boy is burned in a toy tractor fire.
The fire happened on June 2, 2012 in the backyard of then two-year-old Wyatt Buckley.
The attorney for the family, Andrew List says little Wyatt was riding the tractor when it spontaneously combusted, engulfing the toddler in flames.
List says he filed suit against the company because the company won't give them certain documents needed to recreate the product. " We need to get to the bottom of why this product is defective, " List said. "There's something wrong when a children's toy burst into flames."
The suit is also asking for compensation of $75,000. List says that could change depending on how the case develops.
The lawsuit was filed in federal court.
