LANCASTER -- Fire broke out in the Lancaster Best Buy store on River Valley Circle North about 2:15 a.m. Tuesday.
The very cold single digit temperatures caused problems for the firefighters as they worked to put out the flames.
Crews got to the scene and had to use thermal imaging inside the building because the black smoke was so thick.
After the flames were put out, investigators say they started in the northeast corner of the building.
The fire captain says items in that area were burned so badly, they didn't know how it started or what the items were.
There were refrigerators across the aisle that were completely destroyed by the fire as well.
Fire officials on the scene say a sprinkler system saved the building and it only took about 10 minutes to put the flames out.
