Kittens Burned at North Columbus Home

COLUMBUS -- Arson Investigators and Humane Society Officers responded to a home on Azelda Street after someone set fire to box of kittens.

The family discovered the box on fire filled with a half a dozen kittens
after 4:30pm this afternoon.

The family quickly put out the fire and called authorities.

The mother cat suffered burns but will survive her injuries.

The kittens all died in the fire.

Investigators are searching for a suspect.
