TOLEDO (AP) -- The Ohio State Highway Patrol says an inmate has been slain at a high-security prison in Toledo.
The patrol said it is investigating the Sunday inmate-on-inmate killing at the Toledo Correctional Center.
It's the second homicide at the facility in the past six months.
The patrol identified the victim as 43-year-old Arturo Lopez, who was in prison on a 2007 child-rape conviction out of Ottawa County.
A prison spokeswoman said Lopez was found in his cell Sunday at about 9:55 p.m. and died at a hospital a short time later.
Lopez shared a cell at the prison, but the patrol wouldn't say if his cellmate was a suspect in the death.
