Icy Conditions Lead to Car Crashing Into Power Pole

COLUMBUS -- Icy roads were to blame for an accident on Jackson Pike this morning that severely damaged a power pole.
The accident happened near the intersection of Dyer Road and Jackson Pike before 6:00 am.
No injuries were reported, but the pole suffered heavy damage.
AEP responded to the scene to repair the damaged pole, and traffic was restricted. The pole repair will continue throughout the morning.
