Ice Beginning to Melt Around Noon

COLUMBUS -- Everything outside was covered in a layer of ice making travel and walking treacherous.
Cars, SUVs, even emergency vehicles were sliding sideways and stuck on the ice.
It was difficult to get all of the ice off of cars and roadways as well as putting salt down on the sidewalks.
Temperatures are now above freezing and the ice is beginning to melt.
