Homeowner says House Targeted Twice in Two Months

COLUMBUS -- A homeowner who tried to stop two burglary suspects in their tracks says his house had been targeted before.
Ronnie Lovejoy says he was dragged across his front lawn Friday morning when he grabbed onto the arm of a burglary suspect trying to escape in an SUV.
Lovejoy wasn't hurt, but angry when a neighbor called him to alert him that someone was breaking through his back door on Alkire Road.
The suspects were caught shortly after a high speed chase that ended in a crash on West Broad Street.
"They don't care the people don't care all they want is something for nothing," said Lovejoy.
Lovejoy says the same house was targeted by burglars two months ago.
He says detectives are looking into whether the two cases are connected.
Charges are pending against the two suspects in the most recent case.
