DELAWARE -- A man accused of killing a young mother while driving drunk was found guilty on all counts Wednesday.

The presiding judge convicted Marc Kraft of eight counts, including vehicular homicide, for a November 8, 2012 crash that killed Heidi Hecker.

In court Wednesday, an expert testified that Kraft's blood alcohol level was .214 -- 3 times the legal limit -- when he drove his pickup truck into the car in which Hecker was riding on US-23, just south of SR-315.

Wednesday, a state trooper testified that Kraft admitted to having three to four drinks on the day of the crash.

The crash killed Hecker, 36, instantly, and seriously injured her 10-month-old daughter and 36-year-old boyfriend, Brad Weaver.

Witnesses reported that Kraft was speeding prior to the crash, reaching 80 mph just before striking Hecker's car. Experts say there is no evidence that Kraft attempted to brake before the crash.

The case was presented in a bench trial, meaning no jury was involved in the proceedings.

Kraft is scheduled to be sentenced Friday morning, at which time Hecker's family will be allowed to address the court.
