COLUMBUS -- Leaders of the movement to legalize gay marriage in Ohio say they will have enough signatures to put a measure on the November ballot.
Freedom to Marry Ohioan announced that Jen Tyrell is joining the organizations steering committee.
Tyrell is the Brookport, Ohio mom ousted as a Cub Scout den mother because she is a lesbian.
Tyrell said she thinks the more people come into contact with families with gay parents, the more they'll support the movement.
Freedom to Marry Ohio Spokeswoman Mary Jo Kilroy said the group is happy with the poling they're seeing, the volunteer efforts, and the support of high profile spokespeople like Tyrell.
The deadline for the signatures is July 3rd.
