DELAWARE COUNTY -- Former OSU football star Jim Stillwagon faced a judge Monday, charged with four counts of felonious assault stemming from an alleged road rage incident.
Richard Mattingly claims he was driving his pickup truck in September, 2012, when Stillwagon followed him on his motorcycle and fired a gun.
Mattingly says one of the bullets grazed his head.
Stillwagon’s lawyers say their client is not guilty of any offense, and will be vindicated by a jury.
Stillwagon faces a mandatory 5 year prison sentence if convicted of firing a weapon from a moving vehicle, along with a mandatory 3 year sentence for a gun charge.
Stillwagon, 63, is currently free after posting a $350,000 bond. He’s due back in court April 8.
