LANCASTER -- The trial of a central Ohio football star has begun in Fairfield County.
Roger Lewis is charged with two counts of rape.
A Fairfield County grand jury indicted Lewis back in March of 2012.
He was arrested in February of 2012 after a female classmate went to police claiming he'd sexually assaulted her in December and again in January.
The charges carry over 20 years in prison if convicted.
Several college teams including The Ohio State University were recruiting the Pickerington Central football star before the allegations surfaced.
