COLUMBUS -– Nearly five years after her son was shot to death in his car, a Columbus mom still waits for justice.
Anthony Morgan, 18, was murdered on Mother’s day 2007, while he was parked at the Rosewind Terrace public-housing complex in the South Linden neighborhood.
Morgan, who was weeks away from getting his diploma from Beechcroft High School, died from his wounds after knocking on a neighbors door.
A toddler Morgan was watching for a family friend was also in the car, as were two teenage girls who took off after shots were fired.
The teenagers were convicted of obstruction of justice for not being truthful with police about Anthony’s murder.
Police have discovered few clues in connection with the slaying; anybody who has information is asked to call Columbus Police at 614-645-4545.
