Fatal Fire in Antique Shop Apartments

HARPSTER -- Wyandot County sheriff's deputies as well as fire crews have been working through the night and this morning where a large fire broke out at an antique mall.
It started at 7223 Wyandotte Street in Harpster about 3 a.m. Tuesday and burned for several hours.
There are two apartments above the Old Antique Store.
A total of three people were unable to get out of their apartment and died in the fire.
Six others including a mother and her three children escaped the flames.
One person was burned and jumped from the 2nd floor apartment. He was flown to an area hospital in Toledo by Mobile Life.
When crews arrived they said it was a very large fire, but as of 9 a.m. the fire has been put out.
Crews, as well as the State Fire Marshal, are still on the scene are investigating to determine how the fire might have started.
The Red Cross has been called in to help those people who survived but are displaced from the apartments.
