Fatal Accident Shuts Down Thompson Road

COLUMBUS -- One person is dead after an early morning accident east of the intersection of N. Hamilton Road and Thompson Road on the city's northeast side.
Columbus Police say they were called to the scene on a report of an overturned vehicle on Thompson Road near Stonewalk Lane in front of an apartment complex. Upon arrival one person was found to be unresponsive.
Accident Investigators have been called to the scene to determine what may have caused the one vehicle accident. Thompson Rd remains closed indefinitely while the crash is under investigation.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
