Drugs Suspected in Whitehall Shooting

WHITEHALL (Joe Stoll) -- Police believe a man who was shot in the rear-end was shot in a drug deal gone bad.
The shooting happened at around 11:35 p.m. Thursday in the area of S. Hamilton Rd. and E. Broad St.
According to Whitehall Police, there were about 20 rounds of ammunition fired off behind an apartment complex and a man was caught in it, getting struck on his backside.
The suspect tried to run away, but collapsed in front of the apartment complex, a Whitehall Police Sergeant said.
