COLUMBUS -- A fugitive on the run for several months is now back in police custody.
Police have been looking for this man after he was arrested for domestic violence several months ago.
Officers say he complained his handcuffs were too tight that night.
When an officer went to loosen them, police say he shoved the officer and ran off with his handcuffs still on.
Investigators say he's likely been in Georgia for the last few months.
They received a tip he'd be on a bus back to Columbus Monday.
Police say the fugitive tried to run away from SWAT officers when they went up to him.
He ran up High Street, threw a gun in the sewer and was eventually caught by police in the Short North.
Police say he's facing several felony charges for running away from police and having a gun.
