GRANDVIEW HEIGHTS -- Grandview Police are investigating skeletal human remains that were found behind a warehouse Saturday morning.

A couple discovered the remains around 10:00 AM while walking their dog near Edgehill Road.

The man was clothed and had identification, but Columbus and Grandview Police are waiting for the Franklin County Coroner to use dental records to confirm his identity.

Police tell us the man's ID matches someone in the 2012 national missing persons database. Officers think the body has been outside for a while.

The investigation is being handled as a homicide.
