Coshocton Couple Accused of Abusing Infant

COSHOCTON -- A central Ohio woman wants her grandson returned from foster care amid allegations the child was beaten by his parents.
Christopher Starkey and wife, Kelsey, each face felony charges of child endangerment after the couple's 3-month-old son was treated at a hospital for bruises, cigarette burns, and bite marks.
Christopher, 22, and Kelsey, 20, were living at the home of Kelsey's mother, Amy Hupp, at the time of their arrests.
Hupp told ABC 6/FOX 28 she had no idea the abuse was occurring, but now believes her daughter and son-in-law are guilty and should face additional charges.
The baby has been in foster care since being removed from his grandmother's home on January 29. Hupp is hoping for a quick reunion.
"He's healing. But those smiles aren't our smiles," Hupp said.
Coshocton County Job and Family services will interview family members to attempt to find a suitable home for the baby.
