COLUMBUS (Tara Morgan/Ken Hines)-- A mother is in jail accused of driving drunk with her little girl in the car.
The 29-year-old woman is charged with OVI and child endangerment after being pulled over at Morse and Sinclair Roads.
The woman was followed by a U.S. Marshal for more than 10 minutes before being stopped.
During the traffic stop, officers found a bottle of vodka in the SUV, along with the woman's 4-year-old child, according to police.
"Honestly any time you're that drunk and driving it's bad enough to put a child in the car I couldn't even imagine to tell you the truth," said Barton Hacker, a Columbus parent.
Police have not confirmed the driver's identity, but told ABC 6/FOX 28 Monday's incident is not her first brush with the law.
While sitting in the back of a police cruiser, the woman was yelling at the two officers before they took her to jail.
"Liquor makes a lot of people angry so I wonder if that hadn't quite set in yet like how big of a mistake she was making," said Virginia Millington, a Columbus mother.
The child is now under the supervision of her grandparents.
