Columbus Attorney says More Men Seeking Massage Arrested For Solicitation

COLUMBUS -- An attorney says he's seen about a dozen new clients who searched online for a massage only to be later charged with solicitation.
Attorney Brad Koffel says he's seen an increase in cases in Columbus and Franklin county in the last year and a half.
Koffel says classified ad web sites like Columbus Backpage offer massage services but you have to be careful to be sure they're legitimate.
Solicitation can get you up to a six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
Koffel says he encourages his clients to take a "John's School" through the courts which educates men about human trafficking.
Once completed, Koffel says the charges are usually dismissed.
