Clintonville Bank Robbery & Chase

CLINTONVILLE -- Columbus police are on the scene of an apparent bank robbery, chase, and crash.
A silver car crashed into a building at Amazon Place and High Street and the driver is in custody.
Police say they believe that driver is a suspect in one or more bank robberies. After crashing into the building, police say a K-9 officer chased the driver down the street, biting him.
Police say the suspect is now being held at OSU Medical Center.
There was a bank robbery at the Chase Bank at 3665 N. High Street just minutes before the car crashed nearby.
Police have not identified the driver of that car however say there are charges pending against him.
