Chillicothe Chief Taking Time off After Bar Altercation

CHILLICOTHE -- An Ohio mayor wants state investigators to look into an altercation at a bar involving his chief of police.
Mayor Jack Everson is calling on Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation to determine what, if any, action should be taken against Chief Roger Moore after he was caught on a cell phone video swearing during a shouting match outside the Cozy Inn.
Chief Moore acknowledged his behavior in a letter to the mayor, saying in part: "Unfortunately, my reaction after that person laid his hands on me multiple times was captured on a cell phone. I regret that I responded out of frustration with language that some people understandably find offensive."
Chief more requested -- and was granted -- a week's paid vacation to "spend some time of person reflection" while the incident is under review.
