COLUMBUS -- A Lewis Center man, allowed on house arrest while awaiting trial for a string of violent crimes, is back behind bars after being arrested yesterday for robbing two women at gunpoint.
Clinton Agbor, 20, is now locked up, accused of robbing the two women yesterday, within 20 minutes of each other.
Police say Agbor approached a 22-year-old woman at Norwich St. and N 4th Avenue last night around 9:30.
He fled when she refused to give him cash.
Less than a half hour later, a 52-year-old woman says Agbor pointed a gun at her while she was getting out her car at her Clintonville home.
“He got in, he was very calm, said I need you to drive me somewhere,” said the 2nd victim.
Instead the martial arts black belt instructor ran from her car to a neighbor’s home.
Police arrested Agbor a short time later after a neighbor called police reporting a suspicious person in the neighborhood.
Agbor was scheduled to go on trial yesterday for charges related to a July arrest that included aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and rape.
The trial has been postponed.
