DELAWARE, Ohio (Ken Hines) -- A grand jury has indicted three men in connection with a string of crimes that culminated with a police chase.
Scott Thomas and Trintan Moore face aggravated robbery charges related to crimes committed at Huntington National bank and a pair of pharmacies in mid-February, as well as counts of grand theft and receiving stolen property for their alleged involvement in the theft of multiple vehicles.
Thomas and another alleged accomplice, John Thompson III, have been indicted on felonious assault and failure to comply charges after allegedly leading police on a car chase on February 18. That chase ended when officers used spike strips to stop the suspects' car on State Route 23 and Ohio Health Boulevard.
"Mr. Thompson and Mr. Thomas put the community and law enforcement at risk," Delaware County Prosecutor Carol O'Brien said.
Thomas, Thompson, and Moore are currently being held at the Delaware County Jail.
