14 YO Boy Charged With Murder

EAST COLUMBUS - A 14-year-old Columbus boy has been charged with a Monday evening murder in East Columbus.
Columbus Police told ABC 6/FOX 28 News that the teen shot a man at the Sutton Square Apartments on Elaine Place South.
They believe it may have started as a robbery.
The police report shows the teen lives at the home where the victim was gunned down.
Dispatchers confirmed officers responded to the home around 6 p.m. after a child discovered the body in a basement and ran to neighbors for help.
Police found the victim show and paramedics pronounced the man dead only a few minutes later.
No further details have been released about the victim because investigators are still trying to notify his family members.
Police were still guarding the crime scene on Elaine Place South at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
ABC 6/FOX 28 News has learned the suspect's name, but we will not report it until we've uncovered more information.
