Updated: Wednesday, January 8 2014, 05:21 PM EST
WESTERVILLE (Camille Doty) -- Police are searching for two suspects involved in an armed robbery on the 600 block of State Street.

They came through a back door minutes before closing time on November 14.

One suspect forced a manager to the floor threatened to kill him if he didn't open the safes.  His accomplice held the employees captive in the front of the store.

Detectives say they used excessive force to get the victims to comply.

"They're on the floor almost begging for their life," says Gerald Milner with Central Ohio Crime Stoppers.

The suspects put the money in a black gym bag and takes off in a black or dark blue car.

Police describe one of the suspects a male in 20s. He wore a pullover winter cap, sunglasses and a checkered scarf.

They believe the other suspect could be a female around 30 years old. This person a black hooded sweatshirt, black-and-white track pants, and a red cap.

Detectives cannot confirm the second suspect's gender.  However witnesses say they had an effeminate voice.

Milner also says they used a revolver, which is not a popular weapon among men.
