Food Truck Stolen in East Columbus

Updated: Friday, August 2 2013, 11:42 PM EDT
COLUMBUS -- A four wheeled kitchen set to open to the public within the next few weeks, has been rolled away by thieves.

Percy Wright has been working to open his Jabo Stylez Fast Food Truck for the past few months at the corner of Stelzer Road and Agler Road near Port Columbus Airport.

The plan was to serve hot wings, Philly cheese steaks, and other American fare, says Percy, who named his business after his grandfather.

Over the weekend, burglars stole the 14 foot trailer, which had been locked up at a closed tire store.

“Somebody just kicked me, took the life out of me,” said Percy, after learning his $20,000 truck was stolen.

Police are now investigating the crime which was caught on security cameras at a nearby business.

Anybody who has information about the missing red trailer is asked to call Columbus Police at 614-645-4545.
