Columbus Family Wants Justice 3 Years after Man's Murder

Updated: Monday, October 7 2013, 08:02 PM EDT
COLUMBUS (Steve Levine) -- A Columbus family continues to
pray for justice, more than three years after a loved one was murdered on the east side.

Quincy Battle was gunned down in his Hale Drive home on
March 24 2010, when two strangers knocked on his door, while he was watching
basketball with a friend.

“For years it’s been really hard, because it hasn’t ended,”
said Ernestine Battle, the 32-year-old’s Aunt. “We just want it to end.”

Battle collapsed in his living room after he was shot
multiple times. He died a short time later at a nearby hospital.

“There’s somebody that probably has bragged about it, that’s
what young people do. I believe there is someone that knows,” said Battle.

Robbery is one of the motives that have been investigated by
police in connection with the cold case.

Crime Stoppers is now offering a cash reward for any
information leading to an arrest in this unsolved murder.  Anyone with information
is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Central Ohio (614) 461-TIPS.
