Bellefontaine Workers Forced to Tie Each Other Up During Robbery

Updated: Friday, August 2 2013, 11:42 PM EDT
BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio (Ken Hines) -- Police are searching for a suspect who forced two workers to bound each other during a robbery.

A security camera caught the robber in action inside the Community Market in Bellefontaine.

The suspect is believed to have used a gun while robbing the store. He pointed the weapon at employees while ordering them to tie each other up, according to police.

"He definitely had them scared," Bellefontaine Police Chief Brandon Standley said. "He presented himself in a calm manner, giving directions. They followed the directions in fear of retaliation."

Investigators told ABC 6/FOX 28 a similar robbery occurred at another central Ohio store in March, but they have not determined if the suspect responsible for that crime also committed the robbery in Bellefontaine.Bellefontaine Workers Forced to Tie Each Other Up During Robbery
