Police Conducting OSU-Area Drug Raids

Updated: Friday, April 26 2013, 07:20 PM EDT
COLUMBUS -- Franklin County Sheriff detectives and Ohio State University Police are conducting drug raids around campus.

Officials say an undercover investigation began last year after they received reports about drug sales near the university.

Officers were able to make more than two dozen buys during their probe, and say some students intending to buy the drug ecstasy may have unknowingly purchased bath salts.

Thirteen people face charges in connection with the drug operation. Police have seized more than $13,000 in illegal drugs, including marijuana, LSD, and oxycodone.

ABC 6/FOX 28 has obtained the names of the people charged in the case, but is not releasing them until all arrest warrants are served.
