COLUMBUS - A Reynoldsburg man could soon face steeper charges on an unnerving crime that police say he committed inside Eastland Mall this month.

Detectives are considering filing felony burglary charges against the 27 year old suspect who they say hid in female dressing rooms in Macy's Department Store and took photos of at least one shopper while she was changing.  Ebony Neighbors, 23, told ABC6/FOX28 that she noticed the camera underneath the divider of her room while she was putting on a pair of jeans.  She said she bent down to look underneath the divider and the man holding the camera was not wearing any pants.

"It's weird.. creepy," Neighbors said.  "He got a little nervous.  I could tell he knew he got caught."

Neighbors left her changing room to notify security and in that time she said the suspect had left.  Police say he was caught on the store's surveillance video and caught on surveillance video the next day when they say he walked into the female fitting rooms again.  At that time, police took his cell phone and charged him with misdemeanor voyeurism.

Those charges have been dropped so police say they can work on the felony case which could lead to an eight year prison term.

ABC6/FOX28 went to the suspect's home for comment but he did not answer his door.
