CPD Investigating a Deadly Shooting

COLUMBUS -- Police are seeking information about a shooting victim that turned up at the emergency room of a hospital.
Police say someone dropped a man off at Mount Carmel East Hospital at around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday. They say the man had been shot in the chest. Officers say the victim was pronounced dead about an hour later.
Right now, police are searching for the vehicle that dropped the victim off at the hospital. They say it's a red Ford Crown Victoria with a temporary license plate.

The name of the victim wasn't immediately released.
