MET MUSEUM-CLOUD CITY

NEW YORK (AP) -- Some New Yorkers are on cloud nine -- or make that cloud 16. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is featuring a rooftop exhibit, composed of 16 stainless steel-framed clouds. Visitors get to those bubbles via transparent staircases. "Cloud City" offers spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline and Central Park. It's the creation of an Argentinean artist (Tomas Saraceno). He says it's like a walk in the sky.

MYSTERY FLYING OBJECT

DENVER (AP) -- Federal aviation authorities are investigating a UFO report in the Denver area. The pilot of a small jet radioed that he had a close call with an unidentified object Monday. In an audio recording from LiveATC.net, the pilot tells air traffic controllers he saw something "like a large remote-controlled aircraft." KUSA-TV reports the twin-jet Cessna Citation was about 2,800 feet above the ground when the incident occurred. No damage or injuries have been reported.

FIREFIGHTERS-KEGGERS

WRAY, Colo. (AP) -- There won't be anymore cold ones -- after a hot one. At least not for some volunteer firefighters in eastern Colorado. Beer kegs are being taken out of the firehouse in Wray. Some people had complained the beer-on-tap at the fire station was unprofessional. Though the kegs are going, Chief Jeff Gallegos says he didn't have a problem with it. He tells a local TV station (KCNC) the firefighters were drinking beer after the fires, not before.
