WEST COLUMBUS (Rob Wells) -- A West Columbus man is hoping that extra sets of electronic eyes help put a front porch bandit behind bars.
Brian Courtney says he placed $300 worth of surveillance cameras on his Trabue Woods subdivision home last year, after someone swiped a package from his front porch. Thursday, the same thing happened again.

Courtney says a delivery man dropped off a new vacuum on his front porch. Hours later, cameras caught an SUV driving by the property. A moment later, the SUV drives back by the house, stops, and a man gets out and grabs the package. He then gets back in the SUV and leaves.

Courtney says over the past few months, his neighborhood has been plagued with car break-ins, even mail being swiped. Now, he's hoping that the recorded images help nab those responsible before it happens again.

The brazen bold guys even tossed a Burger King cup out of their window near Courtney's yard, which he turned into Columbus Police as evidence in the case.Thief Caught on Camera Swiping Package off Porch
