EAST COLUMBUS (Jen French, Chrissy Morton) -- A man is in critical condition after police say someone fired more than 10 shots in an East Columbus neighborhood.  Officers say 25-year-old Romero Reed was shot multiple times in the upper body.

Witnesses said the wounded man ran around the block and banged on a neighbor's door on Lillian Lane for help. Not knowing who he was, police said the neighbor didn't answer but called 911.

Neighbors told police they saw a black SUV take off shortly after the shooting.

Medics took Romero Reed to Grant Medical Center.

Police found a gun, but haven't found the shooter.

Officers said two men were with the victim at the time of the shooting. They have been interviewed.
