Some Parents say JC Penney Ad Advocates Bullying

COLUMBUS (Derek Drake) -- Some parents across the country are saying a recent TV commercial from a popular department store advocates bullying.

The JC Penney advertisement showcases different products they claim kids "have to have", while showing different children wearing the gear and interacting with their friends.

The voice-over comments are said from a mother's point-of-view, and the actor says having the right clothes or products can "make or break your year."

That is the line many parents have an issue with because, in the commercial, the student in the middle is suddenly all alone at his lunch table, presumably because he did not have the "right clothes".
